The United States has seen a great deal of change in the past fifty years. From the assassination of JFK, to men landing on the moon, to the Vietnam War, to the destruction of the World Trade Center and the War in Iraq, the United States has had its share of ups and downs. The "baby boomers" have witnessed much of that change as they have grown. Reflections on Half a Century is a poignant volume of poetry that details author Jeff Rimland's journey through the past fifty years. It covers the bigger issues that changed both the country and the world, but also includes the smaller details that were important in the life of the author. This meaningful chronicle of the past five decades will give rise to emotions that many of us are not able to express in words. Jeff Rimland has written over 250 poems, and Reflections on Half a Century is his third published book of poetry. Jeff possesses an MBA in International Business, a certificate in Career Development Facilitation, taught college courses, has over 30 years of business experience, and what feels like centuries of life experience.
