Redemption

Aylene Candent's adventure starts as a first-year student at the Academy in preparation to join the Arcane Guard and bring honor to her banished family. She seeks redemption for the same crime which resulted in the execution of her father and her family's loss of royalty. Training at the school and isolation gives way to explorations of the realms of the embodied written worlds of somnumes and umbrumes. Books within books can be visited and time can be extended, but that doesn't mean it should be. Aylene's love for adventure results in her biting off more than she originally intended, and her fated trips to Cosmoria become life-changing adventures rife with spiritual repercussions that forever change her mark on the magi people.
