To win the battle against good and evil, she has to get back with her ex.
Twenty-five years ago, Prince Lucian broke Queen Kerainne's heart when he rebuked her and her unborn child right after her kingdom was razed by the Evil One. When he suddenly reappears in her life, she wants nothing to do with him. But, due to a diplomacy treaty, she can't make him go away. Seeing him every day makes her long for the passion they'd shared.
Lucian's clan has been seeking a Jagwolfe-Leonine marriage alliance for two-thousand years. But all he ever cared about was Kerainne. When he found out she hadn't died in the attack and was going to birth the Evil One's child, he overreacted. Now, he'll do anything to win back her love.
The opportunity arrives when the King of Aisthanesthai needs Lucian's help with convincing the luminites to join the war. The only way to do so is a marriage pact. But to get Kerainne to let him court her, he must embark on an arduous quest for redemption. As Lucian befriends vampires, high sorcerers, and the daughter who he'd once called a monster, Kerainne must decide if she'll risk her heart for a second chance at happiness.
As the war against the Evil One ramps up, can these winged immortals mend fences in time to forge crucial alliances and rekindle a love for the ages?
