Sonatas for Flute & Guitar

The combination of flute and guitar enjoys a long tradition going back to the earliest known Western music. The two blend happily with flowing flute cantilenas embedded in rich guitar sonorities. Austrian Ferdinand Rebay whose recently-discovered works are here presented for the first time breathed new life into the genre with these lively neoclassical works.
