Complicated Situation

The Street Level and Musicworks family of labels unique sound was birthed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, mixed in New York and transplanted to Montreal, Canada. The tracks recorded in the 80's at the legendary Sigma and Alpha Sound Studios in Philadelphia featured the cream of the crop of Philly's funk pioneers. Featured here is the original 1984 12" single, "Complicated Situation" by Reall Juice, the pseudonym of Barry York, a fine Jamaican singer who took up residence in Montreal. This particular single was recorded in Montreal and became quite popular in Belgium and the Netherlands. Included is the original B side, a bonus dub mix. Newly re-mastered.
