David Drew was a shy English boy living in post-World War II London. Through sport, art, drama, and as a Scouter and assistant youth club leader, he matured into a young man eager for adventure. Due to a Groundhog Day moment, David found himself thrust into a world of dust, heat, snakes and mosquitos as big as helicopter gunships. He found love in Zambia, was washed downstream towards a drop over Victoria Falls, survived two bouts of malaria, charging elephants and baboons, a burning boat in the Nigerian Delta, and many more adventures in Central and East Africa, Libya, Iran, Jordan and Sri Lanka.

Migrating to Western Australia in the 1980s, his family found the perfect environment to thrive. David melded family, work and play, seizing professional and personal development opportunities as they presented. Although his private life was packed with physical pursuits including sailing, martial arts, scuba diving and recreational flying, he continued his quest to discover the connection between different cultural beliefs, the spiritual and esoteric, and communication portals between the third and fourth dimensions. All this while driving cultural change in a corporate environment, encouraging companies and everyone he met to be the best possible versions of themselves.

Drew, David: - Born in England in 1944, David Drew is a retired civil engineer, management systems consultant and contract auditor who was engaged in the construction of prestige projects from highways and airports to multi-million-dollar dams, tunnels and power stations in Central and East Africa, Libya, Jordan, Iran and Sri Lanka. Migrating to Perth, Western Australia, in late-1985 resulted in his introduction to the cement industry, spending ten years as sales and marketing manager, and corporate quality assurance manager. Headhunted by Western Mining Corporation, David moved to Kalgoorlie in 1996 to design and establish quality, safety and environmental management systems for the Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter. In 1998 he purchased and managed a scuba-diving school in Queensland. Returning to Perth in 2000, he was involved in the construction of Harvey Dam. Following a few years consulting and with Woodside, his last project before retirement in 2015 was with Chevron on the Wheatstone Gas Platform project, which involved much international travel.David believes there is a common thread between different doctrines, philosophies and religions, and that humans have created many paths to the one destination. David's many worldwide adventures, and learning life's lessons along the way, are shared with readers of this book.
