The Lord called me to work in the prison house where I have been for more than nineteen years. I have seen so many broken lives and the pattern continuing. Why are all these young people trapped behind bars in the first place when God has given the message of deliverance through Jesus Christ? For your children to grow in the Lord, equip yourselves with the gospel message, carrying out the instructions He has given you. Teach them God's words. Talk about Him in everyday situations. Take them to God's house to minister to Him. Teach them to pray and communicate with Him. Follow these principles consistently as they develop. In doing so you will be breaking your children out of prison and Raising Sons of Thunder! Rosemarie Ramcharan is from the island of Jamaica, West Indies, and migrated to the USA as a young girl. She is a correctional manager with the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in Montgomery County, Maryland. She holds B.S. degrees in human nutrition and foods and in clinical dietetics from Howard University and is completing a master's degree in religion and counseling at Liberty Theological Seminary. She is director for youth and children's ministries at Rockville Church of God of Prophecy and is happily married to a wonderful man, Arnold Ramcharan. They reside in Boyds, Maryland.
