I had ample opportunity to ask Dad these questions when he was alive, But it seemed that a million reasons not to do so could always be found. It was a waste of everything Dad had ever seen, done, and thought about not to hear his answers, and I regret not finding out more about him when I had the chance. Staniforth, Vincent: - Vin Staniforth was born in England. While honeymooning in the United States, Vin was called home after his father became very ill. His father died two days after Vin's return, and Vin came to realize how much he still wanted to learn about--and from--his father. That realization was the inspiration for Questions for My Father. Vin lives with his wife and two sons in Atlanta, Georgia.
