This is my story, my life story, a true story, well mostly anyway. I've just celebrated my 80th. birthday. I've written from memory, sadly I've never kept any diaries which would have made this task so much easier. Memories are at times deceptive, what seems true today may not have been so when the actual events occurred. For the sake of a good story, I may have at times deliberately stretched or embellished the truth somewhat. This book tells the story of my ambition and determination to achieve wealth and happiness. My struggle with religion, being a messenger for the spirit world, and a contract undercover agent for many years. Most of my family, friends and business associates were by necessity unaware of the latter part. No doubt because I am unable to disclose many details, many will think this to be a figment of my imagination. To those who have doubts I will not defend myself. Believe what you think is true, credit the rest to my imagination, but before you do so, I urge you to google "Matthew Rosenberg on Booz Allen Hamilton" and you will find that organizations such as I contracted for, do indeed exist. I am not suggesting that I worked for this particular company, there are many others. Being born into a Protestant cult, the struggle to break free was enormous. Religion without a doubt, always has been and still is today the biggest con in history. Religion has caused more wars, killed and enslaved more people than anything else this planet has ever experienced. It's difficult to reason with people who are sucked into believing the unbelievable. Calling King Solomon a wise King, being married to a thousand wife's, is that so wise? Not to mention the concubines or mistresses. In any case those that have faith, and can believe by assumption without proof, should also have no problem believing my revelations in chapter 41 that tells of a future world without religion.

Jacob Van Der Land was born in 1936 in the village of Nuis, in the province of Groningen located in the Netherlands. In 1951 when he was 14 years old, together with his parents and siblings they migrated to the province of Alberta in Canada. In 1971 he relocated to Australia, where now together with his wife, he resides in Melbourne, as well as maintaining a residence in Thailand. He has studied agriculture, Theology, Real Estate law and valuation, Electrical engineering and Criminology. The Van Der Land family can trace its history back prior to 1811 when King Louis Bonaparte decreed surnames be used. Before this the family names "Harmon" and "Sierks" were alternatively used. For the sake of convenience after arriving in Canada he has been known as Jake Land. His motto: "Prosperity, happiness and satisfaction are the rewards for Ambition, imagination and determination"
