An Omega who wants his freedom
An Alpha who needs an heir
A contract of a forced heat

Milo is an unmated Omega in a world where Omegas are scarce and treated as commodities. In a last-ditch attempt to escape Alpha oppression, he accepts an offer from a wealthy Alpha. He'll give the Alpha an heir, and in exchange, he'll get the financial freedom to stay unmated.
But he didn't expect the unbearable desire of a forced heat, to catch feelings, or to become a pawn in a Pack power struggle...

This is the second book in the series of the Black Creek Pack Omegas. The story takes place in an omegaverse, semi-shifter, mpreg universe that isn't kind to Omegas. Each book follows a new couple and their way to their HEA or HFN, but there's also a story arc that stretches over the entire series, i.e., this book is best enjoyed after first reading Human Omega, Black Creek Pack Book One.

This series is meant for 18+ readers due to its explicit content.

North, Jay L.: -

Jay's an introvert and a weirdo who has always preferred the company of books over people. Pair that with a dirty mind and a brain that won't quit making up stories and you have Jay L. North.

Jay has always been a voracious reader, which is probably how most writers start out. In their case, they began writing their own stories at a young age. When they couldn't find a book that suited their fancy they simply wrote something themselves-with varying results.
Then they grew up, got a proper job, and almost forgot about their joy of writing.
Only when they hit a wall after years and years of stress and an unhealthy work environment did they reassess their priorities and take up writing once again.
And with a truck full of mental health issues, their stories are meant as pure escapism. They write spice and steam, fantasies, erotica, and guilty pleasures. They hope to titillate and tease and choose to leave the profound and angst-y to others.

They live in the far north of the world where the winters are harsh and the forests are deep. They live in an old castle with their family which, apart from a few humans, also includes three Golden Retrievers and a small fire dragon. They spend their days happily reading (or writing) by the fire or walking in the woods.
