Rose, Ts: - T Rose is the daughter of S Rose, her co-author. T is an accomplished writer, having obtained a degree in English and History from the prestigious Queen Mary University of London. While at university, T earned five academic prizes for her writing. Over the years she has worked with various charities, focussing on promoting reading as well as organizing events and activities to help children and adults in need. She was born in England and now lives in a rural town surrounded by trees and nature, but which also lies only twenty-five minutes by train from the bustling metropolis of London. She describes it as, 'having the best of both worlds'. Her particular literary interests include the genres of psychological thriller, horror, and science fiction, focussing on the ways in which they reflect personal and societal anxieties. T Rose is the character and dialogue designer in this writing duo, bringing youth and freshness to their stories, which is needed to offset the miserable world of terrorism. S Rose was born in South Africa, but partially schooled in Germany and the UK. S now lives in London and has published a gardening story for young children, as well as a fantasy tale for young adults. Her career as a town clerk, working for the good of the community, keeps her exceptionally busy, so writing takes place during stolen moments just before bed. She has lived in many places around the world including an enjoyable period in Kissimmee, Florida in the USA, and has held an eclectic variety of jobs such as running a leadership training school, and owning a restaurant where she was front-of-house manager. She experienced in person the peaceful transition of power from the ruling white government in South Africa, through democratic voting, to the ANC, and passionately believes that, instead of violence, there is always another way. She creates the intricate plots that are a feature of the writing duo.
