Proof of the Man

A mixed-race American (Joe Yamanaka) found fatally stabbed in an elevator. The son (Koichi Iwaki) of a noted fashion designer (Mariko Okada) fleeing to the States after a deadly hit-and-run. World-weary cop Munesue (Yusaku Matsuda) suspects a link between the incidents-and as he goes to New York and finds a tenuous alliance with local plainclothesman Shuftan (George Kennedy), he may be proved right.
