Freedom is a series telling the story of Aladdin in a way you have never heard it before. Join Aladdin, who starts out as a ten-year-old boy living in New York City in 1910, on all his unexpected adventures, fantastical, emotional, and historical. Book one, Possibilities, starts this magical journey.

Aladdin's life changes drastically at a very young age. He holds onto his mother and the things she teaches him. When tragedy strikes, Aladdin realizes change is constant. Aladdin must hold on to his identity and his character despite poverty, bullying, judgement, and powers and forces he knows nothing about striving to bring him down.

Aladdin's life is interwoven with many others. Lydia is the spirited daughter of a wealthy businessman. Even with her prosperous circumstances, everyone seems to see her as an object to be subdued and used. Aladdin sees and embraces the intelligent, kind, leader she truly is. Dick is a young scholar, eager to learn and to teach, however nobody seems to see past his quiet nature. Where others see nothing, Aladdin sees someone with exciting goals who is worthy of support. Kyle and Owen are two brothers, orphaned at a young age. Owen has an open, youthful spirit. Kyle has closed himself off from the world to protect himself and his younger brother. Aladdin reaches out to these boys who everyone sees as common street thieves, and an unlikely bond of brotherhood grows.

Lefler Scarab is an ambitious man who sees Aladdin as a threat and sees Aladdin's friends as a means to manipulate him. Fortunately for Mr. Scarab, he knows about certain tools, powers, and forces Aladdin has never seen before. He knows about the reality of magic and how to use it.

With all these challenges, will any of these people ever reach their full potential and embrace the possibilities for their lives? This is the tale of Aladdin as you have never seen it before. Open the book and embark on a magical journey.
