Instrumental: Mario Fernandez Porta y Su Piano

One of Cuba's most famous composers, Mario Fernandez Porta was a self taught musician who did not read music, yet wrote some of the most famous tunes in Cuban music history. He was also a wonderfully interpretative pianist, as this rare album recorded in the early 1970's suggests. It was at these wonderful sessions that he paid tribute to the great American songwriters he so revered. All selections newly remastered.
