Plague Ship: An Oregon Files Adventure

Chairman Juan Cabrillo and the Corporation's mercenaries race against time to prevent a corrupt activist group from unleashing a catastrophic viral attack in this #1 New York Times bestselling thriller from the Oregon Files series.

The Mission

The Oregon, captained by the rakish, one-legged Juan Cabrillo and crewed by former military and intelligence operatives, operates as a private enterprise available to any government agency with the resources to hire them. Fresh from a classified operation against Iran in the Persian Gulf, the crew encounters a cruise ship drifting aimlessly at sea. The deck is littered with hundreds of bodies, and as Cabrillo investigates the grim scene, explosions tear through the vessel.

Barely escaping with his life and the ship's sole survivor, Cabrillo finds himself drawn into a conspiracy more intricate and dangerous than any previous mission. He's now pitted against a cult with horrifying plans for humanity—plans that may already be in motion.

About the Authors

Clive Cussler authored more than fifty books across five bestselling series, including Dirk Pitt, NUMA Files, Oregon Files, Isaac Bell, and Fargo. His real life mirrored his fictional hero Dirk Pitt—leading expeditions to discover famous shipwrecks and lost aircraft. Cussler and his NUMA crew of volunteers discovered more than seventy-five historically significant lost ships, including the Confederate submarine Hunley, raised in 2000. An avid collector like Pitt, Cussler's classic automobile collection featured more than eighty examples of custom coachwork.

Jack Du Brul, a graduate of the Westminster School and George Washington University, has climbed Masada at noon, swam in the Arctic Ocean off Point Barrow, explored war-torn Eritrea, camped in Greenland, and been gnawed by piranhas in the Amazon River. He lives in Burlington, Vermont.
