Pies: My Mother's Apron - Paperback

Pie, in a word, is my passion. Since as far back as I can remember, watching my mother make her pies was the ultimate standard for happiness. I knew before long the house was going to be filled with the aroma of spices and freshly baked pastries that would melt in my mouth. Her pies were always thick with filling and stood tall on the plate when they were sliced. And, my favorite breakfast was pie I have simply loved pie. I can't really explain why. If one loves puppy dogs, watching children play, enjoying being around family, or walking along the beach at sunset, you can bet they love Mom's Apple Pie Mom and Apple Pie is something that just can't be questioned. Its the symbol of everything good in America. To me, pie is poetry that makes the world a better place.
