Morrow, Mark: - Mark Morrow has enjoyed a varied career as a journalist, book acquisitions and development editor, photographer, and author. As a journalist and photographer, he has written or taken photographic assignments for local, regional, national newspapers and magazines, including Esquire, People, Fortune, and the Los Angeles Times. He has written on topics ranging from personality interviews to specific industry areas, including aviation, business, human resources and organizational development, leadership, and photography. He is also a former private pilot and aviation enthusiast who counts piloting a helicopter around the Statue of Liberty as a peak experience (pre-September 11). He also served as a Capitol Hill reporter, covering aviation and defense policy and founded a newsletter focused on informing businesses on compliance with an emerging international quality management standard as well as an associated book publishing enterprise. McGraw-Hill ultimately acquired both the newsletter and book publisher where he became an executive editor. He also built a flourishing professional and trade list of books for an Alexandria, Virginia-based nonprofit organization, American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), where he served as the director of acquisitions and development. Since 2009, he has been a ghostwriter and developmental editor focused on helping clients (current and former CEOs, motivational speakers, organizational development, and human resource professionals) tell their stories of success and business transformation.
