Hung Phat, one of the highly innovative producers from the legendary late 1990s Miami-based label Afrowax that spread the sound of speed garage to the masses in the USA, is back in action after a long hiatus - which gives EDM fans the world over reason to rejoice. One of the major inspirations to his call back to duty is talented local vocalist Jaye Anthony. Jaye was a huge fan of the Afrowax sound as a youth and when it came time to record his own music, he had only one producer in mind. It took Anthony a couple of months to run him down and hand deliver his demo. Jaye's idea for his debut album was inspired by the work of Daft Punk and how they influenced his own original music. Needless to say, the Phat one was duly impressed and informed the young lion that he was "all in." The duo even worked up a modern take on the Daft Punk gem "One More Time" and used it to kick off the album's track sequence. The ensuing sessions resulted in a very impressive debut full-length "Songs For Robots And Humans" and marks Hung Phat's long overdue return to the recording studio. .
