Kowalik-Wegrzyn, Laura: - Laura was born and raised on a peach farm in picturesque Niagara, Ontario, Canada with her mother Phyllis and her father Chester, who was her mentor. She had a successful 34-year career as manager of the farm retail store and founded an equally successful orchard wedding business with her daughter Krystyna. With the passing of her father Chester, the farmer, in 2023, she became the farmer and grew an even deeper appreciation and gratitude for the farm and for a life created by her parents. Laura is the recipient of the prestigious Farm Marketer of the Year award.
Although she is extremely proud of her family's stewardship of the land and nurturing of the orchard, she treasures the memories created with her family, 4 generations working and growing together.
