Take a journey to the North woods! This beautifully illustrated children's book features full color watercolors on every page. It is about a trip through the Canadian province of British Columbia. Written in poem form for approximately ages 6-12, it describes the sights that one would see along the way. Glaciers, turquoise lakes, rushing streams, wildlife and an old gold mining town are featured. The reader encounters a First Nation village and goes with the family on a float plane to their property on a peaceful cove of the lake destination. The enriching experiences of travel and the excitement of where your dreams can take you are themes of the book. So, hop on a plane, take a boat and jump in a car to take the journey that children and adults will enjoy together. The book is offered in an 8 x 10 paperback format and an e-book edition with large print for early readers.
