Pare

Parks Burton's first LP is a distillation of themes developed over the past 4 years. Pare spins personal moments into 16 tightly wound pop songs that crackle with baroque vocals and dense synth arrangements. Episodes of bubbling anxiety and dislocation are blown out into IDM confetti, yet Pare is ultimately a hermetic, intimate bedroom pop album, full of honest indulgences and vulnerabilities.
