Author Doris Whithorn has made Paradise Valley her home for 52 years. For much of this time she and her husband, Bill, ran a small service stop, where locals and travelers could purchase gas, fishing gear, groceries, and even lodging. In the early 1950s, residents started to approach Bill about making copies of their treasured family photographs.
