Chicago pianist/arranger Marshall Vente joins forces with Chicago vocalist/producer Joanie Pallatto in a collection of 15 songs that includes two originals. Pallatto's exquisite vocals are wrapped in the lush and creative arrangements of pianist Vente as he strokes the keys of the Baldwin SD-10 9' concert grand creating his own personal orchestra. No style of music is left alone as the CD opens with Lennon & McCartney's 'Help!' And yes, The Beatles do swing! Traces of urban soul sizzle with "People Make The World Go Round."
