Nick Pappas has spent his unremarkable life inventing inconsequential things. That changed when he learned about artificial intelligence, then designed and built the most remarkable teaching tool since the beginning of time. His neighbor and friend, April Falk, disbelieves what she sees. It's too far-fetched, but with each new day, she realizes this technology can help her stop a terrorist conspiracy that is the focus of her F.B.I. task force. Unfortunately, the greatest invention of all time will attract forces that want to use it for their designs, which, no doubt, will be for power and control. So the race to stop a terror attack also becomes a race to cloak the technology from those who want to control it. We learn there is a real-life Centurion who can provide a safe harbor as the technology's emergent skills evolve in the future, but can our heroes get it into these trusted hands even though the technology exists in plain sight? This fantastic adventure gives the reader a view of a disruptive technology that will be part of our lives and change humankind.
