Paisans: Italian-Americans in Friendship and Love - Paperback

"Eat well, laugh often, love a lot" is a translation of an old Italian proverb. The saying is also the theme of "Paisans," the third novel in a trilogy featuring a handsome teacher and a beautiful rancher. The newest romantic dramedy comes after the primarily Italy-set "Ricigliano" and returns to -- and expands on -- the Chicagoland and Arizona settings of the trilogy's first book, "Remember Love's Smile." The newest book, subtitled "Italian-Americans in Friendship and Love," introduces four couples -- teenagers, thirtysomethings, fortysomethings, and a man and woman who stopped counting in their seventies. Italian food is highlighted, as in the other two books. Sightseeing and historical perspectives are once again shared. And, courtesy of the frequent proverbs from spirited Aunt Zia, Italian humor further enlivens the proceedings. All three novels are available for order at amazon.com by the respective titles.
