Fields is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Presently he resides in Magnolia, Delaware with his wife Cynthia, also a Gospel preacher and two of his three children; Cordell and Joshua. He holds a Masters of Science in Community Counseling from Wilmington University in Dover, DE, and a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Studies from Friends International Christian University in Merced, California. He is nearing completion of his PhD of Philosophy in Religious Studies from the same University.
