Only Fools Fall - Paperback

The course of true love never did run smooth ...

Damon Reed has lived a solitary half-existence in the woods outside Verona since the death of his wife and infant son. He spends more time in his bear than as a man. But there is one woman he can't stop dreaming about: shy bookworm, Lena Rodriguez. When he sees Lena dance in the Rite of Spring festival, he can no longer conceal his desire. But what can he offer Lena except for a broken man who's almost lost all his humanity?

Lena Rodriguez moved to magical Verona after her witch mother's death in a search for her own power, but so far, nothing. All the magic in her life comes from the books she loves. But there is one bright spot--the monthly visit from the quiet, moody Damon Reed. She wishes he would love her ... but in Verona, you have to be careful what you wish for. Are his feelings real or magic? And is she strong enough to find out?

One hot summer night in Verona, magic runs wild. But is magic enough to keep Lena and Damon from letting their heads drown out their hearts? Find out in this modern-day adaptation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

The Shifters of Verona series is best read in order, and contains steamy paranormal romance retellings of the following Shakespeare classics: Romeo & Juliet (Star-Crossed), The Taming of the Shrew (Tamed), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Only Fools Fall) and Much Ado About Nothing (Alter Me).
