She is a writer and registered nurse working with youth in therapeutic residential foster care, bringing both professional expertise and deeply personal experience to everything she does.With a background in communications and psychology, Maria writes with a desire for others to know the love of God. Born and raised in Michigan, she and her husband, who serves as the lead pastor of their local church, are dedicated to serving their community through full-time ministry. Her debut children's book, One Day at a Time, was born out of love, grief, and a belief that all children deserve to feel seen, loved, and valued.Her favorite place to visit are the beaches of Southwest Florida, her self-proclaimed "home away from home."
