Stunningly squalid opus from Nikkatsu follows a week in the life of teenage Osaka prostitute Tome (Meika Seri), as her rough and endless trade in a brothel and on the streets is callously supplemented by abuse from her mother Yone (Genshû Hanayagi), still in the life and resentful of the competition her daughter represents.
