Turner, Eugene, Jr.: - Eugene "Chicago" Turner Jr is a security specialist at Newman Smith High School and elementary schools within the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District. He began his career in security and law enforcement in 1988 in the Englewood area of Chicago. In 2017, he relocated to Texas, where he served as an armed security officer at Texas Can Academy from 2018 to 2022. Guided by the principle, "It takes a village to raise a child," he is dedicated to enhancing the safety and security of his schools while mentoring and supporting faculty and students, emphasizing collaboration to create a safe and nurturing educational environment.
