Description
Roll up your sleeves and come out fighting That's how you'll feel as you are caught up in Ocheesee Whirlwind. Desperate times call for desperate measures in a male-dominated society in North Florida. Tempers flare and you'll feel like running for cover when Elaine literally runs into Josh Matthews at the county fair. Sparks fly when these two from opposite sides of the "creek" are spun into a whirlwind life of backwoods struggle for survival through the first four decades of the twentieth century. The black waters of nearby Ocheesee Creek and the meandering Apalachicola River wind around and through a beautiful natural botanical garden, but Elaine and Josh have little time to enjoy it. They are trapped in a paradise that turns into a living hell on earth.
