Her unstable and unpredictable childhood gave her perspective about life and through her lens her poetry profoundly mirrored the world around her. In her early childhood God was a prominent expression of her faith in herself but as she transformed into a woman her concrete belief in God has been self reflective and a collective conscious of being wombman.

Artistically known to many as "Cityblockartist", Maurice is a Brooklyn bred, freelance, all-round artist that uses multiple mediums to create his work while also creating through a wide variety art styles.
