Co-founder of Dos Gatos Press and founding editor of the Press series, Poetry of The Southwestern U.S., Wiggerman has edited numerous poetry publications, including best-selling craft books Wingbeats I & II: Exercises & Practice in Poetry. A member of the Texas Institute of Letters, he lives with his husband, the writer David Meischen, in the shadow of Albuquerque's Three Sisters volcanos.Meischen, David: - A Pushcart honoree with a personal essay in Pushcart Prize XLII, David Meischen is the author of Nopalito, Texas: Stories (University of New Mexico Press, 2024) and Caliche Road Poems (Lamar University Press,2024). Anyone's Son, from 3: A Taos Press, was honored with Best First Book of Poetry from the Texas Institute of Letters (2020). Meischen's work has appeared in The Common, Copper Nickel, The Gettysburg Review, Naugatuck River Review, The San Pedro River Review,, and elsewhere. A former juror for the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, he is an alumnus of the Jentel Arts residency program.
