Dr. Edoardo Baldini is an Italian experimental physicist whose research focuses on the nonequilibrium dynamics of quantum many-body systems in the condensed phase. He specialized in the field of ultrafast optical spectroscopy of correlated electron systems at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, from which he obtained a PhD in Physics in 2017. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he is developing new schemes for ultrafast quantum control and photo-induced topological phase transitions.
