No Refunds A Comedic Look at My Retail Career - Paperback

Remember that any statistic can be manipulated, any friend can become an enemy, and any job is tolerable until it isn't. This book is an anecdotal look back on a life as a retail associate. It delivers a humorous, personal account of misadventures, failures, successes, and the downright absurd. The unpredictable daily encounters with customers and colleagues blend into colorful, relatable moments with quotes that have become unequivocal truths to the retail worker:

"If you think you're underpaid in retail, you're overpaid."

"Never prolong a meeting with a stupid question."

"If you make one good friend in retail, that's your bonus."

"In all honesty, if you got fired, you shouldn't be surprised."

Reading will unfurl the layers of the human experience as a person subjected to the retail industry. Along with the lying, cheating, and backstabbing, there is also camaraderie, introspection, and personal growth.

These stories dropkick us into all the funny scenarios, into situations you wouldn't believe and yet somehow become tips to help you survive your retail journey. Whether you're a retail employee or one of the millions of customers, you will find something to relate to and empathize with, something enlightening, and something that will make you laugh at life.
