Everyone has a Soulmate, but few people are lucky enough to find each other. Aideen Hayes, an English teacher from El Paso, TX, and Junmin Choi, a Kpop idol from Gwangju, South Korea, had even worse odds of finding their Soulmates. Both were second-generations, having been born to Soulmate parents, and never believed they would meet their own. Both were caught by surprise, and in denial, when they started to exhibit symptoms...

Junmin and Aideen have an awkward start that leads to an awkward First Meeting and to a complicated relationship. No matter how hard they try something always seems to stop them from being able to overcome their issues and their closest friends don't seem to help their situation. With all the strife and difficulties in their relationship they begin to wonder if maybe they weren't meant to be romantic Soulmates.
What happens when neither will compromise? How would dating someone other than their Soulmate work? What if their Soulmate is the only person they could ever imagine loving and they don't feel the same? What would happen if they ignored their Bond out of spite? Aideen and Junmin find out just how hard relationships can be, even if they're a sure thing.
