A chance meeting at university enabled student Damian and Klara to be attracted to each other. They soon realized that their ultimate goal was to share a life together. Upon graduating, they decided to explore Africa. While at the Victoria Hotel Zimbabwe, Damian received a telephone call from his father. This call turned out to be the beginning of a remarkable chain of events, with consequences that were unstoppable. At the end of their journey, they decided to spend some time working in Tsitsikamma. During this period, the couple were blessed with twin girls Susanna and Savannah. Their happiness, however, was short-lived when Savannah went missing. While the police investigation went cold, Damian arranged a money transaction with Philip.
