Never Been Chris'd is the Hallmark holiday one where two lifelong best friends come home and fall for the same old high school crush.
Naomi and Liz run a business together and have been close since they were teenagers. A season back in the hometown was meant to fix the burnout. Then Chris Silver walks back into it.
Details
A Hallmark production from 2023, with Janel Parrish and Tyler Hynes at the front and a supporting cast drawn from regulars of the channel.
What to expect
Warm, seasonal and low stakes, exactly as the label promises. Viewers who collect these do not agree about this one. Some file it with the comfort watches; others found the story jumped around and the central pairing unconvincing.
Synopsis
Business partners and besties-since-teens Naomi Long (Janel Parrish) and Liz Waitt (Pascal Lamothe-Kipnes) thought a holiday season in the hometown might be a curative for their work and life doldrums. That lasted until they ran into cool, once-unobtainable high school crush Chris Silver (Tyler Hynes)... and the competition that opens up leaves both questioning their friendship. Distinctive Hallmark offering co-stars Linda Ko, Samantha Kendrick, Henriette Ivanans. 84 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English.
We shelve it with the other drama TV series.
