An exchange of ideas and insights between musician and dancer with lively demonstrations of percussion rhythms and choreography. Rhythms of Oriental Dance demonstrates nine fundamental Egyptian rhythms in an interactive, entertaining way: first in a light, instructive interview and then in a traditional Egyptian dance piece with tabla solo in which the percussionist and dancer show US their mutual understanding and sense of humor in a refreshing performance.
