Nashville's Complete Ghost Hunting Travel Guide

Hop In and Hang On for Nashville's Grandest Ghost Hunt!

The Nashville Haunted Handbook serves as your definitive travel guide to nearly 100 haunted locations throughout Music City. This city-specific handbook, the second installment in the Haunted Handbook series within America's Haunted Road Trip collection, provides paranormal enthusiasts and ghost hunters with detailed information for investigating Nashville's most haunted sites.

Comprehensive Two-Page Location Spreads

Authors Jeff Morris, Donna Marsh, and Garett Merk present each haunted destination across two pages, delivering practical information for every location. Each spread includes precise directions to reach the site, historical background of the location, detailed accounts of paranormal activity reported there, and practical advice for visiting. One to two photographs accompany each entry, giving readers visual context before they arrive.

Organized by Location Type

The handbook organizes haunted sites into logical sections including schoolhouses, roads and bridges, hotels and inns, and additional categories. This structure allows readers to plan investigations based on location type or geographic area, making trip planning efficient for both casual visitors and serious paranormal researchers.

Insider Knowledge for Ghost Hunters

Written specifically for ghost enthusiasts, the Nashville Haunted Handbook contains insider information only locals would know. These details make paranormal investigations more accessible and productive, helping ghost hunters understand the best times to visit, what to look for, and how to approach each location respectfully and legally.

About the Authors

Donna L. Marsh has pursued ghost stories since childhood, starting in Maysville, Kentucky, and continuing after moving to Cookeville, Tennessee. A Nashville resident, she writes a column about ghosts and hauntings while actively investigating paranormal phenomena with the American Paranormal Society, which she helped found in 2003.

Jeff Morris brings experience from his previous works, Haunted Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio and Cincinnati Haunted Handbook. Based in Cincinnati with his family, Morris founded and continues operating a ghost tour in Miamitown, Ohio, since 2006.

Garett Merk founded the Tri-State Paranormal and Oddities Observation Practitioners, a Cincinnati-based paranormal study group. Since 2004, Merk has combined scientific knowledge with his passion for travel and technology to research paranormal activities worldwide.

This paperback guide delivers practical, actionable information for anyone interested in exploring Nashville's haunted history, whether you're a serious paranormal investigator or simply curious about the supernatural side of Music City.
