Name Drop, Me? Never!

Hugging Eric Clapton... drinking espressos with Ronnie Wood... tea with Emma Thompson in her kitchen... turning down an audience with Roger Moore in St. Moritz... it's all in a day's work for some random lanky bloke called Sebastian Wocker. But why has this relative nobody continued to cavort with so many household names? In an honest account of his experiences with the great, the good and the occasionally odd, Wocker shares with us his close encounters of the famous kind.

But this isn't mere celebrity name-dropping. With unflinching honesty and irreverent humour, Wocker explores what fame actually does to people - how it changes them, elevates them or sometimes diminishes them. Some encounters are warm and wonderful. Others are awkward, disappointing or even cringeworthy.

Part memoir, part social commentary, NAME DROP, ME? NEVER! is a funny, thoughtful and surprisingly moving exploration of fame, fandom and what happens when a gangly wannabe collides with the genuinely famous.
