Carmichael, Sherman: - Sherman Carmichael, a native of Hemingway, South Carolina, currently lives in Johnsonville, South Carolina. Carmichael has spent the last forty-five years dabbling into things that are best left alone--like ghosts, UFOs, monsters and other strange and unusual things. He has seen, heard and been touched by things that defy explanation. He has published six books with The History Press. He plans to continue visiting these unusual places for many years to come. Carmichael worked as a journalist for many years, thirty years as a photographer and twenty-eight years in law enforcement.
