One such story My Tooth...It's Gone! began when Suzann found a crumbled-up note written to the Tooth Fairy and signed by her seven[or six?]-year-old grandson, Carter. Inspired, she thought of a perfect way to share a special memory and remind everyone of the Magic of the Tooth Fairy. So, My Tooth...It's Gone! was born. Woven through the pages along with Suzann's words are charming detailed illustrations by her niece, Nicole Monahan, a professional illustrator of books, greeting cards, and journals. The rewarding experience of working together deepened an already fond friendship [relationship].
Suzann resides in Boonville, Missouri, a quaint historic town located on the bluff of the Missouri River, with her beloved four-legged family Marley, Minnie, Mina, and Zella. She loves gardening, especially when her furry family joins her to frolic in the flowers.
About the Illustrator
Nicole Monahan creates illustrations in an inspirational forest studio in the Pacific Northwest. Along with illustrating children's books and her stationary line, Nicole teaches art classes.
