My Stay with the Sisters is a book of poems that explores the different emotions and feelings that come with loss. The poet, who lost her mother to pancreatic cancer, drew from her own personal experiences and re-imagined grief and gratitude as sisters. Grief and Gratitude welcome those who have lost someone dear to them to a home-away-from-home, where they can visit different rooms and the poems within to find a place to cry, scream, reminisce, and breathe. My Stay with the Sisters is an immersive poetry experience for those who have lost loved ones.
About the Author
Cantafio, Cheryl: - Cheryl Cantafio is an information technology professional and podcast co-host (You Only Go Once (Y.O.G.O.). This is her debut as an author and poet. She lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her husband and their two mischievous mini-dachshunds.Sutton, Olivia: - Olivia L. Sutton is a sophomore art student studying illustration and creative writing at PennWest Edinboro University. She hopes to work in publication and help herself and others share stories through art and writing.Leigh, Shelby: - Shelby Leigh is a self-love advocate, poetry editor, and author of three books, including the bestselling changing with the tides.
