My Rock and Roll Fantasy

When your first job in the music business is with The Beatles, what do you do for an encore?

In My Rock and Roll Fantasy, author Richard M. Adler takes you backstage into the untold true stories of rock and roll's most legendary era. This compelling rock memoir and music biography follows Adler's journey from teenage fan to insider during the explosive 1960s rock and roll and 1970s classic rock scene. From working for The Beatles to booking icons like Chuck Berry, Tina Turner, Herman's Hermits, and The Hollies, Adler experienced rock history from the front row, and often from the dressing room.

Told with humor, warmth, and unflinching honesty, this memoir offers rare, behind-the-scenes stories of concerts, recording sessions, and personal encounters with The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Buzzy Linhart, Fairport Convention, and even a young Johnny and Tommy Ramone before they formed the Ramones. Readers will relive moments like sneaking into a Hullabaloo TV taping, watching Jimi Hendrix close Woodstock, and getting lost on the road with Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys.

My Rock and Roll Fantasy is more than a personal memoir, it's a vivid time capsule of a transformative era in music history, a heartfelt love letter to the songs, artists, and rebellious spirit that shaped classic rock and changed the world, one unforgettable guitar riff at a time.
