My Pirate Summer - Paperback

This well-written story is inspired by the true escapades of Captain Dan "Roaring Dan" Seavey who sailed the Wanderer, commercial schooner operating in Lake Michigan in the early 20^th century. Seavey's legitimate shipping operations were overshadowed by his nefarious activities including hijacking boats, stealing cargo, smuggling, illegal goods, and operating a floating brothel. In the novel, C.J. Hagstrom brings to life the story of this Great Lakes pirate in an engaging and fast-moving narrative with well-developed and interesting characters.
