Simmons, Jeffrey T.: - The Rev. Jeffrey Simmons served several parishes in the Diocese of Long Island and one parish in Illinois after becoming an Episcopal priest in 1973. At the time of his death in 2002, he was chaplain to the St. Mary's Convent in Peekskill, New York. His wife Beverly, who figures so prominently in the story of Jeffrey's life and death, lives in Long Island, where she works as a church musician. Jeffrey's brother Stephen, who was instrumental in getting this story published, is a Presbyterian minister.
