Stephanie Schneider, born in 1972, has wanted to write books since she was a child. Initially, however, she was far too busy building lairs, founding secret clubs, and believing in merpeople. It was only after studying art, and a few years as a teacher, that she remembered her childhood dream job. Ever since, she has been going to her favorite café every morning, where she writes works for children and adults. Stephanie lives with her family in Hanover.

Susan Batori lives with her soulmate, Robert, and her cat, Kamilla, in Budapest, Hungary. She studied graphic design at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts. While working as art director at an advertising agency, Susan quickly noticed that it was far more fun to create and draw funny characters. Therefore, in 2013, she became a children's book illustrator and has been working with numerous international publishers ever since. The one thing she can't do without when illustrating: humor!
