Mother Mary Angelica of the Annunciation, PCPA, was best known as simply "Mother Angelica." Born in 1923, she was an American Poor Clare nun renowned worldwide for her work as a television personality. Mother Angelica founded the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), now broadcast around the world, and EWTN radio. She died in 2016.
