It concerns a new moral attitude in America that has had a substantial impact in education and society at large. It is causing us to lose sight of some important fundamentals that affect learning and behavior. Moral principles that have been part of our culture for centuries, and have contributed enormously to the development of democracy and freedom in America, are being de-emphasized. It is essential that a moral framework be re-established in formal education and other teaching venues for the benefit of the entire society.
